Wesley Monumental Fritz Noack's Opus 100 pipe organ
Wesley Monumental Fritz Noack's Opus 100 pipe organ
A six layer ornament designed to replicate Wesley Monumental's organ.
About the organ as printed in the brochure found at Wesley -
"Wesley Monumental's Noack Organ was custom-built in 1985 and is the work of German emigrant Fritz Noack of Georgetown, Massachusetts. Ours is one of two in Savannah; the other is in The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.
The organ has 62 ranks of pipes in four divisions, playable from a console of three manuals and pedals.
The organ case is gothic in style to be compatible with the architectural style of the church building. The choir rail originally extended from side to side, straight across the archway. With the addition of the new organ, the choir gallery was brought forward six feet, as well as the entire pulpit area."
