This is a two layered piece that stands alone on a surface. The Music notes and jazz band are sawed on 1/8 Baltic Birch plywood-The music notes in the back are stained with a light finish and the and jazz band in the front is painted with matte black. They are mounted together with a 1-inch spacer.
